Google Photos app to hide sensitive images

New Google Photos app that lets you hide sensitive images and videos from the homepage, protecting access with a password or biometric feature.

“The feature is already integrated into some Google devices and now arrives for all Android 6 devices,” the company said.

Items on the locked tab will not appear on your photo network or albums, and will not be available to other applications on your device that have access to your photos and videos.

It is actually a secret folder, accessible only by the account holder. To configure this application you need to open the Google Photos application and then select “collection”, and then the “locked” folder.
